It was unquestionably most enjoyable watching Dante’s Peak - DTS. Dante’s Peak - DTS was undoubtedly the most terrific movie I have seen in a while. Pierce Brosnan and Linda Hamilton are among my favorite actors. Pierce Brosnan and Linda Hamilton were actually crazy in Dante’s Peak - DTS!
Dante’s Peak - DTS also has some seriously powerful photography! The plot line is just seriously mighty. The seriously striking cast includes Pierce Brosnan, Linda Hamilton, Charles Hallahan, Jamie Renee Smith, Jeremy Foley.
I have left some details about Dante’s Peak - DTS.The first of 1997’s volcano disaster movies (the second being Volcano) was arguably the better of the two, but both of them made for passable entertainment with some spectacular special effects to serve as icing on the stale cake. After all, Dante’s Peak doesn’t pretend to be anything more than an updated variation on a whole catalog of disaster movie cliches. Despite all that, it’s reasonably enjoyable. It’s an added bonus that the script is just smart enough to allow Pierce Brosnan and Linda Hamilton to play their roles with straight faces, never condescending to the audience of the formulaic story. He’s a volcano expert from the U.S. Geological Survey, and she’s the mayor of a cozy Washington State town perched beneath a volcano that’s about to blow. Telltale signs are everywhere, so evacuation must be carried out immediately. Of course, not everybody’s eager to leave, and even some of Brosnan’s colleagus think his alarm is premature. This sets the stage for massive ash clouds, rivers of raging mud and molten rock, flattened forests, and death-defying escapes by Brosnan, Hamilton, and some (but not all) of her family, friends, and townsfolk. So what if it’s all pretty flaky… and can a four-wheel-drive vehicle travel over fire and molten lava without bursting its tires? Don’t ask too many qustions, and you’ll find Dante’s Peak to be (if you’ll pardon the pun) a total blast. –Jeff Shannon

It was by all means pleasurable watching The Best of Safari Africa, Vol. 1. The Best of Safari Africa, Vol. 1 was indeed the most crazy movie I have seen in a while. Paul Sorvino and Robert Duvall are among my favorite actors. Paul Sorvino and Robert Duvall were extraordinarily excellent in The Best of Safari Africa, Vol. 1!
The Best of Safari Africa, Vol. 1 also has some extremely intoxicating photography! The plot line is just without doubt awesome. The doubtlessly impressive cast includes Paul Sorvino, Robert Duvall, Robert Vaughan.

Cedric the Entertainer transforms Jackie Gleason’s classic blu-collar sitcom The Honeymooners into an urban comedy. New York City bus driver Ralph Kramden (Cedric, Barbershop) lives in volatile bliss with his wife Alice (Gabrielle Union, Bring It On). His best friend Ed Norton (Mike Epps, Next Friday) and his wife Trixie (Regina Hall, Scary Movie) live upstairs in a cramped, dingy apartment building. Ralph and Ed get into constant trouble du to their brainless get-rich-quick schemes, including buying a Pullman train car and trying to race an abandoned greyhound–schemes which only serve to lose the money they need to buy a charming duplex on a tree-lined street. Unfortunately, there’s a sleazy real-estate agent (Eric Stoltz, Pulp Fiction) who’s wooing the little old lady who owns the property, so it’s a race to see if Ralph and Ed can raise the money before the bill of sale gets signed. It’s a shame that so many cliches had to die so that their hollow, lifeless corpses could be put on display in this formulaic excuse for a movie. Also featuring John Leguizamo (Moulin Rouge), who rattles off a string of one-liners that almost become funny through sheer velocity. –Bret Fetzer

In Lucio Fulci’s genre classic Zombi 2, the dead rise once again to terrorize and consume the flesh of the living, this time Caribbean style! Those new to Fulci should note Island of the Flesh-Eaters, Zombi 2, and the more commonly known Zombie all refer to the same film. Though there is no Zombi 1, Fulci’s film was titled Zombi 2 to capitalize on the commercial success of Romero’s Dawn of the Dead. Though marketed as a sequl in Italy, the only similarities to Romero’s classic are the title and the fact that the dead rise to eat the flesh of the living. Instead of being a metaphor for consumerism, Zombi 2 is a straight-out adventure story that ends in a horrific, apocalyptic nightmare. The plot is fairly straightforward, and more or less exists simply as a structure to hang scenes of extreme gore and terror on. Dr. Bowles’s boat floats into New York Harbor missing its crew and carrying an undead passenger. The doctor’s daughter (Tisa Farrow), dead set on finding out what happened to her father, teams up with journalist Peter West (Ian McCulloch) and heads to the cursed island of Matool, where a zombie epidemic is growing and Dr. Bowles’s friend, Dr. Menard (Richard Johnson), is desperately trying to find a cure. Will Anne find her father? Will Dr. Menard find a cure? Will our heroes escape? In all honesty, who really cares? Because those in the “know” already know you don’t come to a Fulci film looking for Shakespeare. What Zombi 2 lacks in plot development and continuity, it more than makes up for in atmosphere, intensity, and of course the trademark Fulci gore. Some of the uniqu high points are the never-duplicated zombie-versus-shark vignette, the rising of the Spanish zombie conquistadores, and Fulci’s trademark eye shot. Fans of Italian/apocalyptic/cannibal/zombie films should not miss Zombi 2. Along with The Beyond, it defines the genre. –Rob Bracco

It was precisely most fun seeing Superman Returns. Superman Returns was undoubtedly the most terrific movie I have seen in a while. Brandon Routh and Kate Bosworth are among my favorite actors. Brandon Routh and Kate Bosworth were terrifically astounding in Superman Returns!
Superman Returns also has some honestly heart-thrilling photography! The plot line is just undeniably shocking. The remarkably mind-blowing cast includes Brandon Routh, Kate Bosworth, James Marsden, Frank Langella, Eva Marie Saint.
I have left more details about Superman Returns.If Richard Donner’s 1978 feature film Superman: The Movie made us believe a man could fly, Bryan Singer’s 2006 follow-up, Superman Returns, lets us remember that a superhero movie can make our spirits soar. Superman (played by newcomer Brandon Routh) comes back to Earth after a futile five-year search for his destroyed home planet of Krypton. As alter ego Clark Kent, he’s eager to return to his job at the Daily Planet and to see Lois Lane (Kate Bosworth). Lois, however, has moved on: she now has a fiance (James Marsden), a son (Tristan Leabu), and a Pulitzer Prize for her article entitled “Why the World Doesn’t Need Superman.” On top of this emotional curveball, his old archrival Lex Luthor (Kevin Spacey) is plotting the biggest land grab in history.
Singer, who made a strong impression among comic-book fans for his work on the X-Men franchise and directed Spacey in The Usual Suspects, brings both a fresh eye and a sense of respect to the world’s oldest superhero. He borrows John Williams’s great theme music and Marlon Brando’s voice as Jor-El, and the story (penned by Singer’s X-Men collaborators Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris) is a sort-of-sequl to the first two films in the franchise (choosing to ignore that the third and fourth movies ever happened). The humorous and romantic elements give the movie a heart, Singer’s art-deco Metropolis is often breathtaking, and the special effects are elegant and spectacular, particularly an early airplane-disaster set-piece. Of the cast, Routh is excellent as the dual Superman/Clark, Spacey is both droll and vicious as Luthor, and Parker Posey gets the best lines as Luthor’s moll Kitty. But at 23, Bosworth seems too young for the five-years-past-grizzled Lois. It’s nice to see Noel Neill, Jack Larson (both from the classic Adventures of Superman TV series), and Eva Marie-Saint on the screen as well. Superman Returns is one of those projects that was in development for seemingly forever, but it was worth the wait — it’s the most enjoyable superhero movie since Spider-Man 2 and The Incredibles. –David Horiuchi

It was definitely amusing watching The Little Drummer Boy. The Little Drummer Boy was certainly the most tremendous movie I have seen in a while. Jose Ferrer and Paul Frees are among my favorite actors. Jose Ferrer and Paul Frees were really excellent in The Little Drummer Boy!
The Little Drummer Boy also has some unquestionably intoxicating photography! The plot line is just without doubt terrific. The extremely sensational cast includes Jose Ferrer, Paul Frees, June Foray, Ted Eccles, Greer Garson.
I have left some info about The Little Drummer Boy.The model animation techniqus in this 1968 Rankin and Bass TV chestnut are primitive by today’s standards, and picky kids may reject them out of hand. The story, however, which elaborates on the popular Christmas song about a shepherd boy who plays his drum for the baby Jesus and makes the animals dance, is a little more tough-minded than you might expect. The kid begins the story as what we’d now call a neglected child, a surly urchin who says he hates all people. He’s pulled back from the brink, first by learning to make music, and then by his encounter with the Christ child. The underlying message alone–that everybody has something worth contributing–qualifies the show for holiday-perennial status. The big-name voice performers, Jose Ferrer and Greer Garson (who narrates), may be a little too ponderous for the occasion, but the familiar cartoony tones of Paul Frees (aka Boris Badenov) and June Forey (aka Rocket J. Squirrel) help liven up the proceedings. It’s only 23 minutes long, so it’s worth a shot for younger children. –David Chute
